Quiet Afternoon Entertainment
I've never been to Tiffany's before, but found myself in San Antonio for business. I had a couple of hours to kill before my flight and decided to head across town to chill out before leaving town.
Tiffany's is on the west side of the city, north of downtown. And it's situated near what looks like a nice, residential neighborhood. The club has free parking (at least in the afternoon) and faces a busy commercial street.
Inside, I was pleasantly pleased with the layout and the service. A $5 cover and reasonably priced drinks we great, but what really got my attention was the $5 dance specials. All afternoon. The club was slow and I suspect that had a lot to do with the fact that the girls don't make too much money at $5 a pop. But there were a handful of 6-7s and maybe one 8 working. They all seemed friendly and happy to sit and make conversation for a few minutes before hitting me up for a dance or 5. And another advantage of being in the club at this time was the fact that most of the seats were empty. it was easy to find a private corner away from the glare of the main stage. It looked like there were two or three satelite stages but with this crowd only the main stage was in use.
