Evening Visit!

I decided to go back to Rick's in the evening to get a more balanced view of the establishment. My first visit here was a bit lackluster, but it was a weekday afternoon visit so it was probably not representative of the club.

The club definitely felt a lot different in the evening, as I walked in the music was loud, maybe a bit too loud for me, but not too loud. The manager, or someone who looked very important, personally sat me at my table right next to the stage. The club had a decent layout, but smaller than P10 which is my favorite club in Austin. There is a new, I think it is new, section against the back wall opposite the main stage with some comfortable leather seats which were $20/night. I thought this was a good deal and bought my 'ticket', I was slapped with a wristband to show that I had bought in to that section for the night.

The dancer quality was not to my liking. I suppose if you like Cubans, they were everywhere. Though I did find 3 dancers that salvage day my night. Two of them were tall blondes, maybe the hottest dancers I've seen in Austin...and the third was a young firecracker, made me genuinely believe that she was excited to see me and was very handsy. I took her to the section I paid for for the rest of the night, I spent more than I wanted to, like I usually do when I drink and I was drinking more than usual since the dancer I was with was under 21, so I figured hey more drinks for me!
