Player's is a club that I visit regularly every time I'm in the Detroit area. It's definitely the best club on the east side in the 8 Mile Road corridor. It's not in the same league with Flight Club or Playhouse, near the airport. The mileage will vary considerably from girl to girl, so it's hit and miss. Also the girls do not routinely work the room, but rather hang out with their regulars in the booths, so you have to seek them out if you want a dance. Also, this time I encountered a species of dancer known as a ROB (Rip-off B___). An example of this species charged me for six dances when we only did three. The dances were ok. But what do you do in a situation like that? If you complain, you'll be unwelcome in the club and you probably won't get satisfaction anyway. So you shut up and eat it, and cut your losses. The B___'s name begins with M and ends in ... issy, if you're interested.
