Disappointing Day Shift

I went to the Pony around noon on a weekday. I understand that the day shift at the strip club is not always the most happening time, but the Pony’s daytime was nonexistent. There was one dancer and one other patron when I arrived. The dancer was nice enough, but I didn’t find her attractive and wasn’t interested. She did say that other girls would be showing up any minute, so I hung out and drank at the bar until about two. In that time no other dancers or patrons arrived.

The club itself is possibly the nicest in town; I believe it has been recently remodeled. The club has two stages in the middle surrounded by tables. There is a long bar towards the back of the club. The bathrooms are very large and clean. The club is located in a commercial area right off of I-65. There was no cover at the door, and beers were about what you’d expect at a strip club. I didn’t inquire about dance prices.

My rating for the Pony is low; I know they are just getting started in town, but I can only rate the experience I had. If they were not equipped to staff the day shift they should not have been open. I will probably try the Pony again at some point, as it is conveniently located for me. Hopefully the night shift is a little busier. I won’t be back for the day-shift unless I hear it has changed drastically.
