Lower your expectations

This used to be the top club in Rhode Island about twenty years ago. It used to be hard to find to a parking spot in the lot back then, even on a weekday afternoon. Not anymore. Fantasies is almost an afterthought now. I pulled into the lot and parked in the row closest to the building. The lot was almost empty. This being the first time I had come here in over a year, this made me involuntarily shake my head as I thought back to the good ole days. When I walked in, I noticed one dancer on stage and maybe two or three hanging around the floor. One of the ladies was one I had a good time with on my last visit a year ago and, surprisingly, she remembered me. A quick assessment of the room led me to the quick decision I wasn't going to do any better than her plus, like I said, I had a good time with her last year.

Before committing to her, I looked around and noticed a few changes. The wall area where the lap dances take place appear more private and secluded. There used to be tables over there which kind of sucked because there would always be one or two gawkers. Now it appears the lapdance area is roped off. They have two-for-one specials, I believe, Sunday-Tuesday, but don't hold me to that. Also not sure if it is all day or just daytime. Also, I didn't check it out, but it appeared the second floor may have been closed.

After finishing my beer, I went off for the 15-minute VIP room ($40 to the house, $100 to the dancer, plus tip). I automatically started heading for the upstairs where I've always gone for the 15-minute sessions, but the lady pointed to the back corner on the first floor. That was new to me. There were two rooms back there-- one a little more secluded since it is off to the side of the entrance. There is a comfy couch in there and it appeared this was a relatively new addition. The room was not cramped at all with a couple of end tables in there. I was pleasantly surprised. The dancer already knew what I liked and proceeded to accommodate me. It was, surprisingly, a very good experience. I had low expectations and just visited here on a whim after lackluster visits to Caddy and Foxy.
