It had been awhile

In Detroit for work, was a bit tired but decided to make a quick stop to check out as I will be around for a while. Bogarts is reliable, you have to have the right expectations, it is a decidedly blue collar club where I have always find the people friendly and a solid value if you have your expectations set correctly. Today was a day just to grab a couple quick beers and check out the scene. One bit of advice for those traveling like I who have not been to Bogart's previously is be patient, you can absolutely get great value there is no need to rush with the first few "handshake" greetings. Stopping in this club a few times a year it always strikes me how many of the same faces can be found working and in the same seats. This quick visit didn't catch my attention before my early turn in thus I went home with almost the weeks planned funds. Will be back this week with more energy, but a bit surprised today to leave with so little spent.
