New Ownership

I decided to visit again to see if the new owner has made any positive changes. Inner Room used to be considered a top club by many. But is has since fallen in quality consistently. The obvious change is the upgraded bathrooms. A lot of clubs don't invest in this type of thing unless they are struggling. It was needed addition but when I was there they had used so much bleach to clean it that it burned your eyes. A lot of former dancers have become bartenders, and it seems like the same staff and prices.

It always seems like they have driven out many of the more thuggish customers. Unfortunately dancer quality was also quite low on this night. It was one of the worst lineups I have ever seen. This is a difficult problem for the new owner to be sure. How do you make major changes to the club without driving away business? The club was much more empty than usual which could explain why there were so few good dancers. I will check back later this year to see if they have figured out how to run the club better.
