Saturday night visit

Stopped by Harem House last night. I hit there right about 9pm and I was informed it was shift change and only 1 dancer was there...and they didn't charge the normal $6 cover. Bartender informed me they had a $10 special on pitchers that night...so I ordered a pitcher of Coors Light. The one dancer there, Journey, was on stage. Apparently she used to work there before. We chatted briefly at the stage....she said she remembers seeing me there when she worked there previously. I didn't remember her.

Within 30 minutes, a few more dancers trickled in....and Journey left. Stevie, Hayley, Sunshine, and 2 other dancers were working. Stevie approached me first and we chatted for 10-15 minutes before heading to the back for some private dances. Dances are still $20 per song....HOWEVER you now have to pay an additional $5 fee for getting a private dance. Its not $5 per song...its $5 per dancer. So, if you take Dancer A back to the back and get 2 dances, you pay a $5 fee before hand...then $20 per song for the dances. Later on, if you take Dancer B to the private area, you must pay an additional $5 fee...plus $20 per song for the dances.

I was informed there is some sort of class action lawsuit going on against some national chain of clubs...so they are trying to cover their ass by doing this. I was also informed it is supposed to lower the house fees for the dancers. I noticed a decline in the private dances at Harem House that night. I was there for about 90 minutes...and a total of 3 guys got private dances (me being one of them) Lower house fees are good for the dancers...but if they are making less money due to less private dances...is it doing more harm than good? Hopefully, this new fee will be short lived.
