Saint Paddy's

I decided to hit up my favorite Triad-area club for St. Patrick's Day yesterday. The Treasure Club website advertised "All Night Drink and Dance Specials" for St. Paddy's. There were definitely some drink specials, but there weren't any dance specials beyond the 2 for $30s that they always run about once an hour. I'm a bit annoyed at the misleading advertising to be honest (and did ask about dance specials and was told "they'd announce them").

Beyond that though the club was good. It was pretty hoppin' with probably 25 dancers and 30 - 40 patrons. I'll call out a few noteworthy people I saw:

- Rainna: Oh man can this woman use that poll! She's very buff and muscular, which isn't quite my type, but it means that she can do insane stuff on a pole. She'll stay on the pole for an entire song, doing slow, powerful inversions and extensions. She's also impossibly flexible, so she'll do things like put both feet behind her head while at the top of the pole. Let's just put it this way: she's so good that many of the other dancers stopped talking to their guests and just watched her dance. I put some tips on the stage and left - I didn't want to interrupt her routine, but she certainly earned some cash with those incredible moves.
