January after the holidays

This visit was on Tuesday Jan 10, after the holiday crowds had left Key West. This club is in the heart of Duval street and is next to a couple of outdoor bars with the same owners. The sign outside is rather small so you might miss it and another small sign that says Adult Entertainment. Like all of Duval street there is virtually no parking, I had walked from my hotel. I came in at about 7pm after watching the sunset at Mallory square. The place was almost empty, the doorman said it had been very slow the last few days. I was there until about 9 but went out for awhile to get something to eat since they don't have any food. There was no cover charge or ID check. I understand sometimes there is a small cover after 8pm. There are two rooms each with its own stage and bar. Only the front one was open while I was there but they were about to open the other one when I left as the number of customers (and dancers) was increasing. There was no waitress, just a bartender. I don't drink alcohol but fruit juices were $3. No pressure to buy drinks. The decor is not al all glitzy, It in fact looks rather old.

The dancers were of a range of age and looks. Most danced nude but a few didn't take their thongs off. I had two lap dances, in both cases the dancer asked if I wanted one when I tipped her at the stage. The lap dance area is an open room with bench seating along the walls and separated from the rest of the club by saloon type swinging doors. So if there was more than one lap dance going on you could definitely see the other ones. Touching was allowed, one the dancers saying "you may touch me anywhere except the pussy".. Dances were $20 per song, payable to the dancer afterwards.

My biggest negative is that there were several girls who just sat at the bar and made no effort to come interact with the customers. Overall it was enjoyable and not too expensive.

They have a sign outside that says "husband sitting" trying for the business of people off the cruise ships that are often docked there during the day
