Gotta Watch Your Wallet More than Usual

First time at La Gloria. Arrived about 6pm on Thursday. There were about 7 girls and 4 mongers in the place. Frisked upon entry, but no cover, and no ID check; standard for the bars in the zone.

There is a center stage with two poles. It was not too dark and the music was not devastating. No DJ. No girls dancing. Two of the mongers danced with the girls on the stage off-and-on. Pretty dull and I was about to bail, when Patricia sat next to me. She was barely a 5 and I am sure most would rate her lower, but she had a nice face and smile, so I decided to play it out. Worst case it would cost me a beer for her. Cannot remember the price of the lady’s drinks, but I think it was about $8.

Turns out she was very sweet. Not much English, but she tried and we communicated fairly well. I was floored when she said she is 44 and has a 21-year-old son. She could have said she was 36 and I would have believed it. The honesty was refreshing, as most of these women have complete fake background stories that includes a severe reduction in age, even the 20 somethings.
