This was almost the worst club...

This was almost the worst club experience in my life. The worst actually goes to a place in Detroit, but that’s another review. I decided to stop by this place on a whim after spending some time at a place down the street which I’ve always enjoyed when I was in town. This place however is the complete opposite of almost everything I’ve experienced in South Florida.

From the outside the place had the initial indications of a fairly good spot. The parking lot was full which to me indicates that it’s a popular spot. After a few bucks to the parking lot attendant and $5 to the girl at the door I was inside and ready to have a good time. It all went down hill from there. A girl showed me to a small table a few feet from the only visible stage. Most of the other tables were filled so it was a full crowd but it was really more like night of the living dead. Everyone was quite. A few had girls sitting with customers but no signs of life other than that. No table dances. No waitresses roaming around. No dancers offering their services. Very weird!

I sat through the remains of the first girl’s set and then through another’s 3 song set. The girls were OK but nothing like I’ve seen at other S. Florida night spots. The girls each came around looking for tips after their set but that was the most activity I witnessed. There might have been another room in the back as I saw a couple of dancers go back through a doorway, but I never saw a customer head that direction. Anyway, after a total of about 5 songs and no sign of anyone even trying to sell me a drink I figured I’d cut my losses for the night and write this place off.
