D.C. Locals fun

Royal Palace is not your average strip club. It's a D.C. locals type bar that happens to have strippers. I arrived right as the bar opened around 3pm. I was the only customer. The friendly female Asian bartender told me there would probably not be a dance on stage for 30-45 minutes. I decided to stay for a beer just for kicks. Miller lite was $8. About right for a strip bar. The bartender was adorably sweet and friendly. She ended up buying my second beer and we talked forever. She also cooked some great food during my stay and fed me (still no dancers!). The buy 1'get 1 beer deal continue for a while so I stayed and enjoyed my new D.C. Friend. Finally a dancer came down stairs and went on stage. The dancers had to go to the dj booth and play their own music. Three song sets with them getting nude by the second song. No touching (D.C. Rules) but a good view at the stage. The dancers would come sit with me after the dances and have a drink. All were very friendly but no shenanigans. All in all a fine afternoon but not your traditional strip club experience.
