I was recently in town for some work, saw the reviews for the Hip Hugger and thought I would check it out. The reviews are spot on. The club is definitely a bit run-down and has an good-old-boy feel to it, but your money goes very far here. I got to the club around 10:30 on a Friday night and it was pretty fully, but I didn't have trouble getting a spot at the bar. There's a stage not far from the bar, but it's not really where the action is. Only a couple people were near the stage and after dancing the dancers would work their way through the tables and up to the bar looking for tips (because they weren't getting that much while dancing). Before long a petite Italian-looking woman came by and asked if I wanted a dance. She wasn't really my type, but I thought I would see how it all worked. We went off to a completely non-private area with simple chairs a bit past the main stage. The lap dance, however, was great -- full contact encouraged and only $10. In fact, there were clearly people nearby that had been with the same woman for numerous songs. I got two dances from her and then decided to find someone more my type. Another 10 minutes at the bar and another woman came along -- closer to my type, but still not perfect. We chatted for a bit and I decided to get a few dances from her as well. She also was enthusiastic about full contact and even offered glimpses of her pussy during the dances. This time I noticed one of the guys a few chairs down from me was having sex with his dancer. The dancer I was with wasn't happy about that and moved us to another chair a little further away. After a couple more dances than I had intended, I went back to the bar and spent a little while watching the women rotate through the main stage. There were a couple that I really wanted to get dances from, but I couldn't get them away from who I assume were their regulars. You definitely get the sense here that some of the men are around quite a bit. I ended up getting last set of dances from the first petite woman who had become even more enthusiastic as the night wore on before leaving a little after 1. The place was still going strong at that point. All-in-all, it's a great little club if you don't mind the outdated and a bit shabby decor and the lack of privacy.
