I went to Country Rock Cabaret on Saturday night around 00:15. The cover was $12, but it was waived because I presented a ticket stub showing that I had paid cover at another VCG Holdings club earlier that night. You must take all metal objects out of your pockets, put them in a plastic bin, and then walk through a metal detector. A Sincweiser was $7.25. I spent most of the night at the back bar hanging out with Janet, the lovely blonde bartender. The waitresses and bartenders wear Daisy Duke’s and flannel shirts showing their midriff.

This club used to be PT’s Sports back a few years ago, but was remodeled into a country themed strip club. All of the music is country and classic rock. There were four stages running during the peak hours on Saturday night. The main stage is a large tabletop with a garage door behind it. Every hour or so, the garage door opens, and a NASCAR race car rolls out. A dancer then does a feature dance on the hood of the car. The second stage is a tabletop with the Cardinals logo on it. The third stage has a pole and the Blues logo on it. The fourth stage is in the back inside of a mock UFC cage. It has a Bud Light logo on it and a swing hanging from the ceiling above the stage. All the way in the back of the club beyond the fourth stage is Silver Stud the Biggin: a giant mechanical dildo (similar to a mechanical bull). Many of the female patrons would ride it and have their picture taken on it. The clientele this Saturday night was mostly younger people in their 20’s and 30’s, of which about a quarter was female.
