Paid a brief visit to Fred's on St. Patrick's day. The place was fairly full, but its not a very big joint. Fred's has always had sort of a "dive" atmosphere about it, and things were even worse this time because they're in the process of a major remodeling job and things were rather torn up. Only four or five ladies were dancing, and the best only rated about a 7. Very little lap dancing goes on here because there is not even a semi-private area for dancing. I noticed one lap dance being performed, and it seemed rather lame. And the place was so full of cigarette smoke that I left in a hurry.

I did talk to the waitress about the remodel. They are planning to adding poker tables (Montana strip clubs always seem to want to mix gambling with sex!), and perhaps a VIP area. Hopefully the VIP area will be a more intimate atmosphere for lap dancing, but that remains to be seen. I'll try to visit the place once the remodel is complete and update this report.
