Classy LA establishment with well-deserved reputation

4Play consistently ranks among Los Angeles' best strip clubs, and its reputation is well-deserved. Although the club itself isn't in the best of locations, it's safe enough and there's plenty of free street parking. Inside, the ambience and vibe is very "retro boudoir" - lots of dark materials and drapery. Being LA, there's full nudity but no alcohol served. Depending on the time of day and day of the week there's often a two-drink minimum.

Lap dances can cost at least $20, and private rooms, bed dances and VIP dances are available as well. There's a separate second floor balcony that has many of their private rooms but they're usually closely monitored by the bouncers. Some dancers allow some light touching, others not so much. Some bouncers may allow a little hanky panky to go on but others will hover. The quality of the girls, though, is what makes this club so popular. Every night you will consistently find 8s, 9s and 10s - LA's cream of the crop. Some of the more knockout dancers will also moonlight in Vegas during busy weekends. One of my favorite LA clubs.
