An Afternoon at Wise Guys

After hearing so much about SCs in WP, I swung by Wise Guys last Thursday afternoon during a business trip to STL. There were 6-7 dancers, all in the 5-6 range in terms of quality, and all seemed to be pre-occupied with regulars. No one dancing and most of them huddled at the bar. I ordered a beer and took one of the only two stools open at the L-end of the bar. Soon after that a guy who either worked there or was very much a regular took the other stool at the end of the bar. He then got into a heated argument with another patron mid way down the bar, about something related to the other guy's mistreatment of one of the girls and/or the bartender. So my attempt at being a low key new guy and just taking things in for a while turned into sitting between two guys who were already fairly drunk (at least one of them) and shouting at each other. Not my idea of "chilling". One girl finally took the stage for 3 songs and I sat at the stage and tipped her as a welcome distraction/excuse to leave the bar area. She was a skinny AA who seemed shy or hesitant to be very forward with me, perhaps since I was new. After she was done, I went and sat by myself on the side of the stage opposite the bar, to remain a good distance away from the drunk guy drama that continued. After awhile, a fairly large and a bit older white dancer came over and asked if I would buy her a drink. Even though I was not really into her, it gave me something to do, so I agreed. The only thing I thought was a bit goofy was that I had to walk back to the bar with her to buy the drink, rum & coke, $10. Once we sat down again, she was very friendly and forward, wanting to know what I was looking for. I told her that I had heard this was a good club for extras. Like many have said before, she said she charges $200 to go back to the VIP rooms and I had to pay $50 to the bar. I did find it goofy that she then mentioned it was an additional $3 for a condom. After quoting me $250 for "everything" in the back room of a dive bar, it struck me as odd that she then wanted a marked up fee of $3 for a condom. Knowing I wasn't going to do anything more with this woman, I jokingly told her that "the $3 fee pushed the whole deal over the top and killed it for me". Aside from that, during all of this talk, and the usual stripper story of dancing while she finishes college, she was very open to touching me and encouraged me to do the same.

As she was finishing her drink and I was finishing my second beer, the two guy argument at the bar turned into a fight with the drunker of the two falling or being pushed to the ground. Since I have no interest in being asked my name or showing identification to police officers in a strip club, I took this as my cue to leave. The ironic thing was as I set my beer bottle on the bar and waived good by, everyone seemed very upset that I was leaving, including the winner of the fight, who shook my hand and apologized. I promised them all that my leaving had nothing to do with the fight(even though it had everything to do with the fight), and left.

At this point, I am undecided on whether I will give WP SCs another try when I am back in the area. When I go to a SC, I am looking for four things: fun, sexy, trashy women, that if in the mood are open to extras. While WP has trashy and extras covered, there wasn't much in the way of fun and sexy. A little more on the sad and desperate side than I usually like. Everyone has their own tastes in SCs.
