Not Worth a Stop
I was cruising down Phillips Avenue before a visit a visit to Doll House. I passed by Wal-Mart and thought I should check out Centerfold Lounge because it had got some decent TUSCL reviews in the past. Phillips Avenue used to have lots of street walkers but did not see any today or recently. Centerfold Lounge is a very basic neighborhood club and was not worth my time, which is what I had experienced in my two past visits. I found ample parking and no cover for an afternoon visit. However, I paid $6 for a beer and tip, which was way above the other nearby clubs that have way more women. There were a few guys sitting around the bar, and there was a laid back feel with televisions showing sports around the place. In my time at the club, I only saw two dancers. They were decent looking- probably early 30s, but I was not really interested in trying dances with them. In this, my third visit to this club, I was not approached by a dancer to have a conversation, buy her a drink, or go for a dance- as in my previous two visits. This was strike three- I will never return to this place.
