Better than You Think

Boom Boom Room is like a dirt-covered gem out in SW. I've never been at night so I can't speak for that, but the daytime experience I can most certainly speak to. The bartender is a foul-demeanored white dude with awful earrings and Limp Bizkit-era sartorial choices. It's unclear what the drink prices are. I've ordered the same thing multiple times and received wholly different prices. Maybe it was a slight shift in time affecting happy hour pricing? I doubt it, but maybe. Anyway, the bartender is constantly outside smoking, which means he's not making your or anybody else's drink. To be fair though, the bartender, though surly to put it kindly, is charming in his own way. Sometimes he gets mouthy with the girls. I'm pretty sure they all hate him.

Let's talk about the dancers. Both times I saw the same group of girls. A statuesque black girl w a great ass; a short, round, black girl; a notably tall white girl w/ an unbelievable ass and eye-catching tattos, a thick, pretty-faced, white girl; an older-than-the-others-looking Latina with great tits; and a thin, boyish-figured black girl. It's not necessarily the greatest looking group, but it is a good mix of average to above avg physically, and it's pretty solid for a day shift. (The second time there was also another thin, pretty white girl w a bangin body).

There are two stages, and if you choose to sit at one, girls will come over and dance in a loose rotation, but most of the action takes place in the lap dance section, which is like a large corner sofa in the back of the club divided into three sections, which are then curtained off from the public. The curtains are opaque, but you can clearly see shadows. From experience and also from plain sight, the mileage available is way better than standard in Portland. I might be ruining the secret for all of the regulars (who kept popping in and right back out satiated), but yeah, certainly good times to be had during the day here. Oh and the best part is that the dances are just $20. That's at least the case during the day.
