I like Adult World. I lived in the greater Harrisburg area for 7 years and never went. Why? I heard a LOT of bad things. People I talked to and reviews on this board, painted a picture of a place that I didn't think I would like. So I went to Philly and had a great time and never wondered. Since I moved away, I often find myself in town visiting with nothing to do and no time to go to Philly. So, one night, the wingman and I had nothing else to do, we decided to check it out. Now, I stop by on almost every visit, just cuz it has a great atmosphere for just kicking it.

The club is actually just a back room of a typical adult novelty shop. I never check out the novelties or magazines, so I can't comment on their quality. My only purpose with the main store is to pay my $12 cover and head on it. The club is a smallish room with one small stage in the far right corner, couches along both side walls and high stool chars and tables through the open space. Semi-comfy leather charis surround the stage. There is a VIP area just to the right of the door as you enter with big leather couches but I have never seen it in use so I don't know its story.

The club is a lot of "wanna dance?"ing throughout the club which one girl is on stage. The stage dances are three to a set, clothed, topless and finally naked. Customers at the stage are expected to tip but they rarely get asked for a dance unless they blatantly invite said inquiry. That is where I sit. Customers in the high back chairs are constantly asked for dances but they do not tip the stage.
