I am not from the area,...
I am not from the area, and this was my first visit to the club. I had actually driven by it the day before, so I knew exactly where it was. The weird thing is that if you put the club address into GPS or look for it on GoogleMaps, it shows the club as being quite a way up 61st Street, but it's really at the corner of 61st and Passyunk Avenue, and the entry to the parking lot is off Passyunk. That said, the building is a two-story purple cube that stands all by itself just a few feet off the road with it's name in big letters on every side, so you can't miss it. Just don't be fooled by the address.
The club is nothing fancy. Inside it's pretty much a big square bar with 30 stools around it and a stage on the inside. There was no cover, and bottled water was $5.00. Patrons were an equal mix of black and white. During the short time I was there (3:30-4:30 pm) I saw about half a dozen girls, all black, who danced topless on stage with frequent peeks of the kitty. They came around for tips and were very friendly. For a downscale club, I thought they were attractive. Dances are done in a separate room, and are $20 or $30. I am not sure if there were different rooms for those prices or if that was a price differential for topless vs. nude. There are also a couple of VIP rooms (with doors), which I saw but did not utilize. I went for a couple of $20 dances in a common room, which we had to ourselves, and though her bottoms stayed on, that did not really matter much since no one was watching. There was plenty of two-way contact, and bare-handed manipulation was employed by both parties. Not sure what the VIP price or menu was, but I suspect it may be worth investigating. Would return.
