Fun Time on a Friday Evening

I was downtown in the city recently and had a few hours to kill after meetings. Since there's a dearth of strip clubs downtown, I went to New York Dolls. I got there before the cover charge kicked in and was pleasantly surprised. It's a two floor club and the interior looks exactly like the website. From the get go, you want into the bar and there is a small stage there. Beyond the bar is the main stage. Upstairs are where the VIP rooms and Men's room are. The girls were definitely friendly. From what I could tell, the majority were Latina (Dominican and Puerto Rican), with a smattering of White, Asian and Black dancers thrown in. Over the course of the first hour, I was approached by a number of dancer, mostly Latina, and a few of them made it sound like extras were available. I didn't take them up on it but ended up having a number of dances from a petite blonde who was awesome. Drinks were fairly priced all things considered and it was definitely a good time. If I'm downtown again with time to kill, I would definitely come back.
