Keeps Getting Better
I've had hit or miss times at the Safari before, but over the past few months my visits have improved to the point where this is now my go-to club. As always, cheap drinks, no cover (at least early--I'm rarely out past 10, so I don't know if there is one later in the evening), and a pretty friendly staff make it feel like an attractive destination regardless of the dancers. In fact, a number of locals tend to come in for drinks and food (almost all fried, doesn't look good to me, but more power to ya if that's what you enjoy) and ignore the girls completely. That's their loss.
The last few visits have featured a nice array of dancers, always a couple African American, maybe one Latina or Asian, and white girls running the gamut from tiny spinners to gorgeous big booties, skinny strung-out blondes to voluptuous and nerdy brunettes. Quality has improved significantly lately; used to be there would mostly be 4s and 5s working, now it's 7s and 8s with the least attractive girl in the room still rating a 5. There are three stages, with two in use during the busier times and one earlier in the evening. The third just seems to be for girls who want to keep going after their pole time is up and try to hustle a few more dollars for a slightly more up-close experience for a couple of dudes. It's not occupied very often.
I've gotten lap dances here that range from pleasant to seriously hot. All of the girls I've dealt with recently have had the now-standard Portland pricelist: $40 for 1 song, 3 for $100, two-way contact that ranges from just hands on their ass to roaming all over and a bit of stick shifting fun. Lap dance area is fairly open, but security doesn't seem to check in very often, and during the day there may not be any security at all, so your fun my improve.
