Weird experience: what stripper doesn't want money?

I went here because I had seen some really hot black and latino dancers on their IG. I sat there and the waitresses were very nice, but very few dancers approached me. I was there to buy lap dances, but most of them seemed more interested in talking to dudes that were not spending any money. That was weird! I thought they're strippers for the money and not for the fine friendships you can start at a club. One black girl that was a 6 approached me, and I enjoyed her company, but that was her first night there and didn't know if she'd go back there because she hadn't made any money the whole night besides what I spent on her (no pity party; I brought it up). I tried to ask for a lap dance, but the girl couldn't wait to get back to her conversation with some guys (again they were not spending). Another girl I tried to approach spent the whole time taking selfies on stage. Some dancers were just sitting on couches on their phones. Lame! It's not my first time at a club, so I checked my basics: I was clean, well dressed, fresh breath, not drunk, not pushy, and well mannered. I won't be going back there again.
