$5 Hurricanes in the middle of Tornado Watch
Fat Tuesday - decided to stop by as they were running same Fat Tuesday special as their counterpart, Polekatz to which I was headed originally. Rush hour traffic plus pouring rainstorm and the threat of tornadoes, I decided to not venture as far and decided I would visit here for the first time. $5 Hurricanes and dance specials going, this place was reasonably lively. The decor takes after the former tenants - a dance club - and they may still do weekend shows here? The music is not to my personal liking and is all "electronic". With the weather the way it was, I took the chance to leave when the weather looked clear but during my time there, a good number of dancers stopped by and made some conversation - they didn't just hang with regulars and ignore anyone not close to stage area. I would say most girls are in the 6-7 range with a couple 8's. I did not see any of the girls from polekatz that I know but quality is very similar. Didn't stay long so did not partake in dances but this scoping trip indicated this is a reasonable place to visit in the Chicago area. One downside is the area - lot different than polekatz - off a main drag in a less desirable location. Valet parking and the year/make/model of my car don't make it a candidate for theft but... BTW - hurricanes were very sweet - you had no idea if there was/was not alcohol in them At least not until you had a few - I knew to stop well b4 hitting the road.
