constantly getting better

This club is owned by the same people who own Rick’s (topless club just a short ways up the street on I-35) and XTC Cabaret (nude club in North Central Austin). I’ve been to this club more than a dozen times in the past six months, and I’ve seen it continually change for the better. I’m still hoping that eventually the two VIP rooms upstairs will be remodeled to make them more comfortable and slightly more private along the lines of what they have at XTC. But for now, the management has added a couch to each room in the upstairs VIP areas, which make for better lap dance experiences. They also seem to have found a good balance in terms of lighting, not so dark that you can’t appreciate the girl you’re with, but also not too bright either. And for those who haven't read my previous reviews: cover is $15 before 10:30 pm and $25 afterwards (if you're over 21). The VIP wrist band that gives you access to the upstairs VIP rooms is another $20.

You can also get dances downstairs of course. A while back the management had removed almost all of the couches downstairs to increase the seating capacity, but now they seem to have put some of them back. Personally I find it's a very relaxed and low pressure way to get acquainted with a girl that you're getting dances from for the first time. Unlike other clubs where the couches are actually facing the audience *cough* Palazio *cough*, here the couches are behind the audience, so you don't really have to worry about people creeping on you.

The quality of girls has also improved. The management seems to be making a conscious effort to hire girls who are more slender (as opposed to the thicker look that predominated when I first started visiting). Also, if you have any favorites at Rick’s you may want to ask if they moonlight at this club too, because I’ve often seen girls from Rick’s at Foxy’s. They tend to come over after Rick’s has closed down for the night. Another change I've noticed is that at first the girls didn't always get fully nude on stage. It seemed to be dancer's preference. But now Foxy's seems to be following the XTC policy of every girl getting nude on every stage.
