Finally

Was in the D this week and had some extra time on the way to the airport for my trip home. I've read som much about the infamous Bogies that I just had to visit.

From past reviews I had low expectations. I walked in paid cover and got a drink. First impression was, hey it's not that bad. It's not filthy dirty, the waitress was nice, and the girl on stage was ok looking. I stayed for about 20 minutes before heading to the airport.

As I stopped to get gas for the rental car I thought about what I had just experienced. While not as bad as I expected, the place does have issues. First, it's not dirty and didn't smell too bad, but when I got back in the car after refueling, I noticed that the car smelled of cigarettes / cigars and so did my clothes and hair. I thought about the girls I saw...not ugly, but covered in tats and piercings.
