Saturday afternoon visit to the remodeled Player's Lounge

Saturday afternoon visit to Players Lounge. This was my first visit to the newly remodeled club. It looks great and the traffic flow and site lines have been greatly improved by locating the bar to the back of the building. I also liked the addition of the bar stools at a raised table with a view of the main stage.

The talent was OK, but not outstanding; some of the dancers were pudgy and not especially attractive. I did strike up a conversation with a dancer with a nice slender body who was wearing long stretch pants, pulled down on her hips to ride just above her ass and pubic bone. A bit unusual attire for a club where G strings are standard but still a sexy look. Wanting to see the newly renovated VIP dance areas upstairs, I invited her for a private dance. She was sexy but extras were clearly NOT available, a bit surprising for a metro Detroit club. I stopped our session after 2 dances and went back to the main floor. After rejecting a few older and overweight dancers, I struck up a conversation with an attractive brunette with a nice body and C size top. She promised to provide a more satisfying private dance and delivered on that promise.

When I heard that the private dance area had been rebuilt with bead curtains as opposed to privacy curtains, I was a bit worried that this design flaw would curtail the fun available in the VIP area. I was very pleased that both of my trips upstairs, my dancer took me to one of the more remote VIP booths and privacy was quite good. I'm not sure how private it would be if most of the booths were being used and you had to have a dance in one of the VIP booths that area adjacent to the upstairs "monitor." If, however, you can get a VIP booth in the back area (up a couple of stairs and off to the left after you get to the second floor), then it is pretty private and fun can be had, with the right dancer.
