I made my way to Bobby's...

I made my way to Bobby's after J's. I walked in and paid no cover. I sat at near the end of the bar that was closest to the bathrooms. I was surprised that the place was busy like it was. So busy that I couldn't get a drink from the bartender for a good ten minutes. At first I thought she was maybe overwhelmed but then she was talking to what seemed like a group of regulars at the other end. When I finally got my Miller Lite bottle she complained to me that the other bartender was running late. That would be understandable but you're talking to regulars at the other end instead of stepping up to the plate in the absence of a co-worker. And I wasn't the only customer waiting for a drink, a guy standing next to me was grumbling how he had been waiting for a long time. It seemed like she was taking her frustrations out on the customers.

Once I finally had my beer in hand I sat at the bar waiting for a dancer to approach me. I scanned the room and didn't really see too many girls that were to my liking. The guy next to me, who had been waiting for his beer, took off to a table across the room. An older customer sat down in the seat next to me where the other guy had been. A tall, thin, average looking black dancer with purple hair was all over him. He grabbed her and hugged her tight, almost like a bear hug, while saying how much he liked her. The guy was obviously drunk. She looked over at me and winked. I didn't know what to make of that, until I heard her asking him if he was ready for some shots. The poor guy said "sure" and then turned around to order a round.

I was there for a little over thirty minutes before I decided to leave. Not one dancer came up to me during that time. That really didn't bother me since none were really my type. They were all either too old, fat or ugly. The only great thing about the place were the cheap beers, but I can get those and better looking girls elsewhere. One of those places being Carl's, which is where I headed next.
