Stop two, on a hurried three...
Stop two, on a hurried three club/three hour Wednesday afternoon tour (Cheetah II and Peek A Boo the others). Club not crowded at 1:15p a few patrons at the bar, only one other citizen at the tip rail and another patron at a table back from the stage. The bar is a long straight top that offers a mid range look through to the stage. A few of the slack jawed loungers that populated the bar ocassionally get up walk into the stage area pat some back side and deposit a buck or two between the twins, but this seems almost an afterthought to nursing their beer. A round stage with several poles arranged on the edge (reminds me of a merry go round) sits inside a rectangle rail with counter seats. You are anywhere from two to four or five feet from the stage where the research subjects expose their assets. After some minor stage moves the dancers come off the elevated stage and work the rail feet on the floor. This eliminates up close inspection of certain regions but does allow a few words to be exchanged and a bit of face mashing. One dancer was giving short but exquisite shoulder rubs, wish she had stopped by after her time on stage to offer an extended rub and more intense research experimentation. Ah life in the field can be so serendipitous, the entire research population numbered only five. While the atmosphere was quite comfortable, only one of the five potential research subjects, each of whom received minor appreciative stipends for their time on stage came by to explain the field of research and offer a more intense research opoortunity. Unfortunately this site was limited to a forty-five minute survey and OF has a tried and true research rule to observe before plunging into intense research. Since the only opportunity was offered immediately by the first potential research subject I decline for the moment and another moment never arrived. Had the time alloted not expired a second offer would have been accepted and data gathered for this report. So while the intensity of research was very limited the research site had a nice feel, interesting place that deserves another visit if OF finds himself in Southern Fl or at PBI with time to further scientific study. This left OF headed to Peek a Boo with an hour on the clock and most of the research funds still intact.
