Closed and will reopen under new name

This place is closed and has been sold. The new owner is supposed to be trying to reopen it for St Patrick's Day. The new name is supposed to be Wonderland. I had heard from a dancer it CT that it was reopening soon, so I stopped by since I had to wait for a train in Springfield and this place is close to the train station. Not as close as the Mardi Gras it turns out. It hadn't opened yet when I tried to stop by, but the outside was cleaned up and it looked like somebody had been working inside. The dancer had said to me that the old owner, who runs the Mardi Gras and other strip clubs in the area, had wanted the showbar to be a gangbanger club and he hoped those guys would stay away from the Mardi Gras. He thought they were keeping regular guys away from the Mardi Gras and that the place wasn't packed with guys willing to drop cash like it was a few years back. The dancer hoped he was right, but it didn't really work that way. New owner has run other clubs in Springfield, she thought he had to make the place better. She would not work there before. Also said whe heard that the guy was trying to get regular girls from his other clubs to do amateur nights at Wonderland to pump up its business. I don't know if that's true or if it would work but the strip club scene in Springfield has been awful for years and it would be great if it did work.
