Doll House

After a somewhat disappointing visit to Sinsations, I drove the short distance to The Doll House to check it out. In addition to Sinsations and The Doll House, there are several more strip clubs in the Phillips Highway area, but I have never been to them. I had gone to the current Doll House location last year and had fun. This is a relatively new location and the building and parking area are very nice. Even though the club is located in a semi industrial area, the parking lot is extremely clean and well lighted. There was also a doorman sitting outside watching the cars so I felt safe going inside.

Unlike Sinsations, this club is a much darker and lower energy place. No flashing stage lights and very little rock music. The stage is conveniently located in the center of the club, with ample chairs and tables arround it. On this Friday night there were about 15 dancers. Unfortunately for me, most of the dancers were either overweight or had been dancing too long, or both. Usually there are one or two spinners that attract my attention, but not this visit. Maybe I just caught it on a bad night. This is too bad, because the lapdaces are high mileage here. I did not see a single dancer that I wanted to take in the back. The dances are done in reasonably sized booths behind a smoked glass wall, offering enough privacy for a good time. Even the Russian dancer that has been here forever and always fun in back was not there.

Whereas the dancers at Sinsations do 3 song sets, here they do 2 song sets. That is a blessing when one of the dancers is tough on the eyes. I sat through the entire rotation but did not see anyone who interested me. The cover charge is $10 and a water is only $3, so this place does not require much of an investment to check it out. I am hoping for a better result on my next visit to Jacksonville.
