Not what it once was

I used to be a regular visitor to the Dirty Bird, but I hadn't been there in a while and many of the recent reviews have been pretty negative. I decided to check it out anyway. The club itself isn't that bad even with the plastic seats around the stage--it's the lack of dancers and drink hustle that is really the downfall of the club.

When I walked in (I got there before 1 pm so there was no cover). No dancers on stage, no dancers on the floor. Two other PLs sitting along the side wall. I sat along the back wall and waited for the waitress. She moves quicker than the dancers. I decided to wait 20 minutes to see if any of the dancers would come by. No such luck. One girl, a curvy brunet, wandered out of the back and approached one of the other PLs and the waitress was by their side within seconds. I don't know what was said, but the girl and the waitress moved on to the second, almost as if it was a tag-team.

The girl didn't interest me and there were no other dancers coming out to the floor, so I got up and left . . . maybe 15 minutes passed from the time I entered the club. I used to find this place a great value, but this visit only substantiated the recent reviews of the club.

I won't be back anytime soon unless I read a review that convinces me the club is back to where it once was
