Not much to "showcase" here...

I grew up in the area and Showcase used to be my go to spot back in the early 2000's. Tons of girls of all sorts, all hot and great lap dances (this was even before there was a VIP area). Several years ago I stopped by on a random night and not much had changed in the physical layout of the place except there was now a VIP area (back towards where the bathrooms are). Can't recall how much it was, but a got a decent fully nude dance. Fast forward to tonight and my how things have changed. The most glaring thing I picked up on tonight was the lack of personality from the dancers. Two of them barely spoke English. One dancer mentioned that "they were not allowed" to talk about their days, etc, but I find that hard to believe if the girls in there are hustling to make a buck. I pretty much sat alone for most of the evening as most of the dancers just talked amongst themselves. Toward the end of the night, finally a dancer approached me and asked if I wanted a dance. I obliged for the full nude VIP dance ($20 bucks to the bartender and then $40 a song for full nude. Also the VIP area is now towards the front entrance). I was told that I could touch, but once back in the VIP area and during the dance that translated as ass and tits only. I know at other clubs I have visited in the area, "touching" means exactly what it says it means. In any case, if you're looking for no personality, zero rapport type of dancers this is your place. But if that's not your style, might I recommend you look elsewhere. I know if I'm paying for someone's company, I at the very least expect to hold a basic conversation. I won't be returning.
