Back to back visits, good luck on both

It's hard not to recommend Dollie's. I visited on back-to-back trips to St. Louis and had a good experience both times.

In my job, I get to visit the St. Louis area about four times a year, and I always head over to Washington Park. After reading some reviews on this site, I decided to give Dollie's a try. I had a good experience both times (July and September, 2016) but still was somewhat disappointed. Both visits were very similar. I walked in, ordered a beer at the bar, and found a seat. There weren't many girls in the club either time, probably about five, about half white and half black. Both times, I was approached very quickly by someone who wasn't hot but was do-able. After chatting for a few minutes, they asked if I'd like a dance. So far, so good.

Here's what was disappointing. Both times I ended up with a CBJ for $100. I was under the impression, from reading the reviews, that that could be had for about $60, but they both acted like they were giving me a deal at $100. Also, both times they seemed to be in a bit of a rush and really seemed to be on the lookout for management, as if that sort of behavior doesn't happen all the time there. Maybe they could tell that I was new to the club, I don't know. Either way, I feel that I overpaid for just ok service. Again, not bad, but not great.
