Back in my old stomping ground

I have been to 2001 many times and I never fail to have a good time here. Weekend nights get really crowded and sometimes it real hard to get to the girl you may really want. It's hard to walk around at times ( but this makes for some nice, close touches with some of the girls ) and dancers appear and disappear quite often. I have been in both the champagne room ($400.00) for 30 minutes and the famous spaceship on several occasions. In some of the champagne rooms they have solid doors on the entrance and others a curtain. I have always asked for a room with a solid door and tipped the bar maid $20.00 or so and have never been bothered by anyone. In the spaceship the rooms are in a round circle upstairs and there is a curtain over the door but it does not go all the way to the floor so you might want to be aware of this. It now costs $75 for the room and at least $ 125.00 for the dancer for 30 minutes. I have never been disappointed in either place but now I can't see paying and extra $200 for the champagne room especially since this visit with a young dark haired dancer who told me she had just started working there. Before we went to the spaceship, I told her I had been there plenty of times before and I that I had been well taken care of in the past. Since she was "new" to the club, I asked her if she knew how to show me a good time like I have had in the past. She assured me I would not be disappointed and up the stairs we went. The path to the spaceship is really cool, with brightly colored carped and walls and yes there is a spaceship up there. After paying the $75 room fee and tipping the lady $15 I chose a room and she certainly gave me my money's worth. While I was concerned about someone looking under the curtain or peeking in on us, I did have a good time and I guess tipping the lady at the entrance made a difference. No one bothered us and after 30 minutes we left with me fully satisfied. I love this place and hope to be back in the near future. The girls will sell you a dance in the "launch pad" for something like $25 plus a $5 dollars entrance fee, but the dances in there are not of the caliber I am looking for and they do try to get you to go VIP, so I'm not going to waste my money on the launch pad. Just go straight to VIP and enjoy like I do. They have a website where you can see the dancers on stage and in the dressing room. This is a good way to preview some of the dancers and see if there is one or two you would like to pick out ahead of time. I have done this in the past and have gone straight to the dancer I wanted the most and it really saves a lot of time if she is working when you arrive. I have found that asking for her by name and telling her that I have been admiring and enjoying her on the website seems to let her know that I am there for her and they seem to really like that. I'll certainly visit again anytime I get near Tampa.
