One is the loneliest number

I usually go to Sands, but since this is just up the street, I thought I'd check it out once. Never again. This visit was a couple of months ago. As far as I could tell, it was just the one lady taking the cover charge up front, and one dancer. The club itself s quite small, with the main stage taking up a good part of the space, and a few single chairs arrayed in front of it. In an alcove close to the entrance are the private booths, and they're the usual sort of booth you see these days, but much better lit, and by "better" I mean way too bright.

I sat myself in one of the big seats in front of the stage, and got a disinterested single-song dance from the only dancer I saw, and then was sold on a private dance in a too-bright booth. I don't know where people are getting the dea that the dances here are great, that I see in other reviews, but the one that I got was all air and wonderbra. Not at all worth the money, and no one there seemed all that interested in going the mile I paid for, let alone an extra mile. Would not return.
