Slipping a bit?

Well folks I haven't been to Follies since early November due to some minor medical issues with self and family. (I'm not counting my 20 minute stop in one day in January to say hi to Shadowcat and a couple of other fellow TUSCLers) Anyways, today was the first day back in a long time. Because I haven't been clubbing, I haven't kept up with reviews but if today is any indication things are slipping at Follies and in Atlanta. I have heard from a dancer friend that things have been slow all through January at Mardi Gras and at Cheetah, even on night shifts.

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but the club was not really happening today for me and my tastes I'm an admitted white spinner lover and today's selection was a single dancer that even approached that type. My estimate on ratio was 40%black, 40%latino, 20%white dancers. I was glad to see quite a number of dances occurring. It was fun to visit with Shadowcat for a little while. I had to go back to work but he indicated that things picked up a little after I left. I hope the quality and quantity returns back to the clubs in the coming weeks.
