Back at Sapphire
I was back in Vegas for a large trade show in late January. Following a great meal at Smith and Wellensky's (I know it's a chain, but a damn good one), a group of seven of us took a limo to Sapphire. Frankly, I try to avoid the big clubs at night because I find the hustle factor goes up extraordinarily with bigger crowds and less privacy. In any event, I have had a number of good daytime experiences here, so I wasn't whining about the trip. Unlike the daytime, the night brings an extremely large crowd (at least by my standards). At the same time, there were plenty, plenty of dancers to choose from. Our group had a large table on the floor, somewhat close to the bar area. We had plenty of girls visit the table. At least three of the guys in my group took girls back to the VIP area. Since they were clients, of sorts, I didn't ask them about the details of their visit. That said, they did not say anything to lead me to believe that their time in the VIP wasn't worth it. For my part, I took an artificially endowed blond or some eastern European ancestry back to the VIP. I was back for about 15 minutes. The room was packed, and despite the darkness, privacy was limited. Given that I was with a group of work associates, I wasn't going to try to push the envelope, especially with the lack of privacy. Overall, not a bad place if you have a group of guys who want to see hot girls at jacked-up Vegas pricing. But, I would impress upon readers the value of going to Sapphire in the afternoon, when there are still plenty of gems to pick from, and there is much more privacy.
