Mediocre

Visited Players on the Friday 2 days after they reopened. Redesign has been described by others – no need to repeat. Valet was $7 + tip, no cover as I arrived just before 7pm as the combined review of day and night shifts was about to begin. Sat at a stageside table. There were approximately 20 dancers on the main stage and the smaller auxiliary stage. What was surprising was the mediocrity of the talent with almost all 5-6’s., especially being a Friday night just after reopening after 3-1/2 months closed.

Ordered a $3 bottle of domestic and watched the show, tipping several girls on stage. One standout was Ruby who performed on the poles like there was no tomorrow. In spite of tipping and expressing interest, she immediately ran off to a regular in a booth where she remained until the next time she was called to the stage. Every single dancer either ran to their regulars or to the back as they left the stage. I remained until about 8:30 after watching the entire of cycle of dancers including a few late arrivals. During the entire 1-1/2 hours not one dancer approached me nor did I see any circulating the room. In addition, I never saw one dancer go to the VIP which I believe is now located upstairs, only, since the area of the former downstairs VIP is now occupied by table and booth seating. All in all, a disappointing visit but I will return to see if things improve as, hopefully, things get back to normal.
