Disappointing afternoon shift talent

Along with its sister club, the Penthouse, Flight Club is considered to be one of metro Detroit's premier strip clubs. Thus, I was disappointed with the quality of the talent on a recent Friday afternoon visit. I counted 10 dancers during the 4PM review. Two of the dancers had decent bodies, a long haired brunette with a slender build and a slightly more curvy but in shape black woman. Both of these women have worked at FC for quite a while and have established reputations for providing mediocre and over-priced private dances. I passed on them. The other 8 dancers were either chunky (as in thick bodies) or older, surgically-enhanced dancers. One of the dancers was downright obese.

I know that some men like more ample, curvy women but a preponderance of the dancers fell into the big, heavy, older category. I stayed for only 20 minutes and one beer before making my way to a much less pretentious Michigan Avenue club (the Cricket) which provided a much better Friday afternoon diversion than the Flight Club. I have heard others complain about a decline in the quality of dancers at Flight Club after a recent management change. So, be forewarned-- what used to be a premiere strip club appears to be entering a rough patch, at least with regard to dancer quality in the afternoons.
