French Quarter Clubbing

I was in NOLA for the week of Christmas. The week before Christmas, The Quarter was dead. I ended up at Scores after 1am on a Thursday morning. I was going to head to Deja Vu, a club I've never visited, but the reviews on here and Yelp steered me clear so I decided to head to Scores, a club I've been to before and had a good time, with the right dancer.

I arrived at around 1:30am after walking the 3 blocks from my hotel. I felt safe even at the late hour that it was. When I got there, 4 dancers were hanging out by the front door, two having a smoke break while chatting up an older gentlemen. I didn't pay a cover.

Scores has exposed brick walls that are long and narrow with pub tables on one side and benches and chairs on the other side with a small stage area in between. The stage isn't big enough for the girls to go wild with a stage show, it seems like there is probably enough room just for the dancer to hold onto the pole and gyrate. Though I wouldnt know as no dancer took to that stage while I was there. There is a 2nd stage but on the other side of the club that saw more dancer rotations.
