My favorite in Manhattan

I always enjoy flashdancers. Don't go too early, the dancers get better later in the night (>10PM), new york is a late night city.

There will be 3-4 ladies on stage, depending on how busy the club is, but the stage is not where the action is at here.

Lots of couches lining the walls on rooms to both sides of the main stage, VIP room behind main stage.

Good lap dances, still $20 per, and I find the girls here a) ask each time before continuing to a second song and b) can actually count correctly when you've had multiple lap dances in a row. Never had a bad experience in that regard.

Mileage will vary, generally the prettier they are the less grindage you will get on the lap dances.
