Foxy Lady lives up to its reputation

Arrived around 8PM on Monday, January 30th.  Valet parking is available, but I parked in one of their other lots that was quite empty and was less than a minute walk from the front door. Cover was $10 and they had me go through a metal detector before entering the club.  On one hand, that’s reassuring; on the other, a club that requires a metal detector is a little concerning.  Went to the restroom first and they had an attendant working who handed me paper towels and opened the door for me.  I didn’t have any ones on me at that time, so I felt bad about not tipping him.  The club is spacious with two good sized bars and more than a handful of TVs.  The main stage close to the front has plenty of seating.  It was quiet, but that was to be expected for a Monday night.  There were a good number of waitresses milling about and also a masseuse or two.  The DJ mentioned that the massages were $10 (not sure for how long). 

I noticed about 10 dancers for the two hours I was there.  There seemed to be a good mix of different types of girls.  There was a cute, bubbly blonde nearby and a tall, more exotic looking brunette making the rounds.  On stage, there were at least two black girls and a dancer who looked like Clementine from the HBO show Westworld.  I didn’t notice any Hispanic dancers, but at least one of the masseuses was and I expect they would have Hispanic dancers based off the area.  All of the women looked good enough to be dancers – that is to say, no girls that were really chubby, or older, or ugly.  Similar to most clubs, they do keep it rather dark, so perhaps if I was to get a better look I would discover differently.  Private dances are $25 for a dance and you pay afterwards which is different from most of the clubs I’ve been to. 

This was my first time at the Foxy Lady and based off my experience and also off of word-of-mouth I would place it in the “upper tier” of clubs in Rhode Island.  The clientele isn’t necessarily upscale, but there’s a good vibe and most importantly, good dancers.  I will definitely be returning soon.
