Secrets
Secrets is outside of the main part of town next to a large Publix supermarket. The building doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it looks pretty nice on the inside. It’s not an upscale place, but has a nice, well-kept look. It looks like it may have been remodeled recently. The cover charge was $5. The girl who took the cover charge asked me how I heard of Secrets. I just told her Google,
The club is basically one big room with large bar in the middle, a stage to the left as you enter, curtained VIP rooms along the right wall behind the bar. The restroom, past the bar in the back, is small but clean. There were monitors on either side of the stage advertising lap dances for $25 and private time starting at $150 for 15 minutes (I think). The monitors also had a recurring message about the club being part of an anti-sex trafficking effort. OK—That’s nice, but I don’t come to strip clubs to see that. I wonder if that’s their way of saying this is a no extras club.
The place was dead at about 7:00 p.m. on Monday. There were only three other guys at the bar. I think one other guys sitting at the back of the bar may have been the manager. There was only one dancer visible, a cute, curvy brunette wearing a red bikini sitting with one of the guys at the bar. A beer was $4, served up by a cheerful but not particularly attractive bartender.
