First Visit to an Austin-area Club

So I finally decided to start my clubbing career at Rick's. I decided to go during the day, since I assumed it would be a lot slower and I can get my feet wet without much pressure. Also, less likely to be 2AM'ed! It was my first time I was s bit nervous/concerned.

From the outside, the club was fine...nice big parking lot, no complaints about the surroundings. I walked in and it was pretty dead, there may have been one other patron, can't be certain of that. I was greeted by a very friendly waitress who took my drink order and even brought over a dancer she thought would ease me in. There were a 2-3 girls sitting at the bar and chatting among themselves. The dancer with me was topless and had a great personality, unfortunately did not have the look that I was looking for. But, we had drinks and it was my first time so I decided to spend time talking to her, while tipping for her time.

On th whole, I was not particularly impressed by the club or dancer quality. This probably was a function of the day/time of the visit. Towards the end of my stay, around 2-3pm, more girls and patrons started showing up. So, maybe I will go back for a visit during the evening or night to get a better idea of the club.
