So-so for me, dangerous for the gullible
I went with a friend. It was his first time to a strip club and so I told him not to go to any private rooms and to be very careful with his money. But one of the girls marked him for a sap as soon as she saw him (more on that soon). I was sitting by the stage most the night next to an old guy who lived in the area and was a regular; he knew a lot of the girls and told me about them, "I know them personally, a lot of them are single moms, etc." There were also TV screens near the stage telling us to report human trafficking if we saw any or something like that. I found hearing about the women in real life and human trafficking to be a turn off. I know about these things, but do I have to hear about them during the actual show?
The dancing, both private and public, was satisfactory but nothing too memorable; mind you, my main experiences with clubs before this were in Japan, where everything's insanely expensive but the dancing is hardcore. Here I got two privates dance and my friend started with one private dance, but the girl who went with him -- who was not particularly attractive in my opinion, too much makeup, shorter, but was apparently up his alley -- managed to snooker him into the back, to the ATM (yeah, he used the ATM), and eventually into the private room. I saw him briefly during his journey and told him I was ready when he was but he said he wasn't quite ready yet, wanted one more dance, she said it'll just be a few more minutes, etc. I was ready to leave after 45 minutes or so and was looking around to see when he'd show up, but she must have had him back there for another hour or so. I spent around $80 there; he was over a thousand before the night was over. I had initially planned for us to see a bunch of strip clubs in Vegas, but after that, the strip club budget was out.
