Hit or Miss

About 10 years ago, Little Darlings was our go-to spot. It still holds a special place in my heart, but things have changed over the years. I find it to be a hit or miss anytime I go. The good thing is that many of these clubs on Broadway are affiliated with each other, so as long as you're not a dick and are looking to have a good time, the guys out front will usually cut you a deal to get you into other clubs in the area. At times they have to escort you to the next place to vouch for you, but they have that system down. Typically the other club they can get you is a topless joint which means you can drink some liquor there and then come back to LDs after throwing a couple back.

One of my favorite things about this joint is how small the stage is. It's literally the size of 2 or 3 office desks which make for a really personal experience. A small stage means that ever seat is pretty much a good seat. All the dancer are very sweet and range in size and colors. A bit of something for most, but not for all. I find that each of the clubs in North Beach has a flavor of its own. If you're looking for a really posh environment with some barbie doll looking women, this is not the spot for you. This is a place where you go to see a whole lot of "clapping" and some really up close and personal views.

If I remember correctly, dances are $20 for bikini, $40 for topless and $60 for nude per song. The club is very small, so there isn't too much to explore and I guess on really busy nights they have another very small stage in the back. I've never seen anyone in there, but maybe I was just not there at the right time.
