Disappointment in the Big D

I had the fortunate circumstance of having to go to Dallas for a few days, so I did my research and decided on Baby Dolls as the place to check out the action in the Big D. This review is for Monday and Tuesday afternoons 5-8 pm on both days. Monday arrived at the BD and paid the valet, entry fee, bottle of beer from the feed bin and off to the bar with the coolest thing I have seen in a long time, an ice rink raceway around the bar to keep your beer cool...awesome.

Sat at the bar with a view of all stages (7 in rotation) with girls on every one of them. I would have to say that I was unimpressed with the first 10 that I saw, then a cutie caught my eye and she made her way to the the satellite stage that was closest to the main bar, tipped her a ten (ok, the reviews said that the cute ones always have their admirers, so I wanted to make sure she came back after her rotation), no such luck on this, waited another 10 dancers before I saw one that would tickle my fancy, same deal...10 bucks and no return on that investment. Decided after 4 beers, that Baby Dolls just didn't do it for me. A bit spoiled by the D, as Detroit is known. My evaluation of the talent this night and the following was that it was a bit substandard from my visit 10 years ago. All in all, the club had a great physical plant, the costs about the middle of the road, the girls, 10% I would take upstairs 40% were average to good, the balance not so sure. All I can say, is at least Dallas has the Cowboys and Detroit has the Lions, enough said.
